Hotel Review: Ozo Wesley, Hong Kong

Tsim Sha Tsui is undoubtedly the best area to stay in Hong Kong for its convenience.
I’m particularly happy with how it made us access major attractions and eateries with little effort. We stayed in this area twice although it could get really crowded. It was the chaotic side of Hong Kong that I wanted to see back then. But I was always open to discovering
a different face of Hong Kong. This attitude took us to the other side of Tsim Sha Tsui.
This time we chose to stay at Ozo Wesley in Wan Chai. It gave us the same convenience
but with a more controlled crowd.

Ozo Wesley is between Wan Chai and Admiralty MTR stations. Both stations involve quite
a long walk but our choice was always Admiralty. The Exit was inside Pacific Place which was just behind Ozo Wesley. Another interesting feature was the abundance of Ding Ding Trams. Seeing these double-decker trams on Ozo Wesley’s doorstep gave a view of Hong Kong’s living history. Everything was right in front of the hotel including food! I tend to be very excited over hotel buffet breakfast. But sometimes there are perfect reasons for skipping
it…like this time! Ozo Wesley is surrounded by cafes, restaurants, and eateries.
We experienced dining in three of the cafes on my list namely, Honolulu Cafe,
Coffee Academics, and Habitu Cafe.

The ease of travel provided by Ozo Wesley wasn’t really a shock. We expected it when we booked the hotel after reading several reviews online. What’s so surprising was the security deposit which costs HK$1500. This will be returned during check-out but I was still surprised with how much it costs. I thought it was over but there was another shocking incident.
We were surprised to see that the coffee mugs and glasses were not washed during our second day. The housekeeper even asked us if they should be the one to do that. Up to now, I’m still quite confused if I was right in getting Ozo Wesley for our 3-day stay in Hong Kong. Well, location wise it’s a 10 out of 10 for me! I’m happy that its location helped us to explore the city the way we wanted and it’s all that matters.
